SparkleShot Software License 1.0 / 2026-10-17 This document distinguishes the license for SparkleShot’s own software, store-distribution rules, and third-party open-source rights. A right to use software is not a transfer of copyright. 1. Licensor and scope Rights in SparkleShot’s original code, interface, and brand content remain with their respective rights holders. Sparkle is maintained by 唐梓耀 / AdrianSparkle and 丁铭 / EliasSparkle. This license applies to non-App Store copies lawfully supplied by maintainers without a different accompanying license. Third-party materials and your content retain their own rights arrangements. 2. Copies obtained through the App Store If you obtain SparkleShot through the App Store and no custom end-user license agreement is supplied in that listing, Apple’s Standard EULA and Usage Rules apply. The non-store license on this page does not change the agreement governing store copies or diminish rights under store rules on Family Sharing, volume purchasing, or refunds. Data provisions in Apple’s Standard EULA do not mean SparkleShot performs every optional processing activity they describe. Actual current processing is explained in this product’s Privacy Policy. Licensing conflicts for store copies are resolved under the applicable store agreement and mandatory law. 3. Limited permission For copies governed by this license, compliance grants a limited, nonexclusive, nonsublicensable right to install and run the software on compatible Macs that you own or lawfully control. You may create lawful outputs for learning, personal, and professional work and keep reasonably necessary backup copies. This does not authorize resale or operation of the software in Sparkle’s name. 4. Reserved rights and restrictions Except where law or third-party licenses permit, do not distribute copies of the application, rent, resell, sublicense, provide the application itself as a service to the public, remove rights notices, modify, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative software. Do not impersonate maintainers or circumvent effective security or license controls. These restrictions do not prevent legally permitted interoperability research, statutory backups, lawful security research, or the use and modification of open-source components described below. They do not restrict ordinary use of your own outputs. 5. Independent LAME license and priority MP3 export dynamically loads a separate LAME encoding library. The supplied LAME notice records the upstream grant as GNU Library General Public License version 2 or later; this distribution elects GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1. License text, copyright notices, corresponding source, and build instructions are supplied separately. You may modify, rebuild, and replace the library and reverse engineer as needed to debug those modifications under the LGPL. Restrictions in this app license on reverse engineering, distribution, or modification do not apply insofar as they conflict with those rights. This notice does not automatically remove system signing or execution requirements; see Source & Building for personal replacement instructions. 6. Content, trademarks, and external materials No trademark license is granted for Sparkle, SparkleShot, Apple, App Store, or other marks. No endorsement or partnership is implied. Your content rights remain intact. Third-party materials, system frameworks, stores, and services follow their respective rules. 7. Updates and support Replacement or supplementary versions supplied by maintainers remain subject to this license unless accompanied by different terms. New charges, subscriptions, or expanded processing require distinct, clear arrangements. This license does not promise indefinite updates or a fixed service level. Maintainers provide application support; this document does not impose maintenance obligations for a third-party app on Apple. 8. Duration and termination This license takes effect when you lawfully obtain and accept a copy to which it applies, and ends when you stop using and delete that copy or it is lawfully terminated. For a material breach, maintainers may require infringement to stop and should allow a reasonable opportunity to correct it where appropriate and remediable. Termination does not extinguish continuing rights under law, third-party open-source licenses, or your independent content. 9. Warranties, responsibility, and legal protection To the extent permitted by applicable law, software is licensed in its available condition, without a promise of defect-free operation or fitness for every purpose. Responsibility depends on facts, fault, and applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections, non-excludable warranties, liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, and other statutory rights remain. Use and cross-border supply must also comply with applicable export, sanctions, and local laws. 10. Contact and other permissions For privacy questions, rights requests, support, or infringement reports, contact maintainer 唐梓耀 / AdrianSparkle on QQ at 2410710390. The developer’s public profile is https://github.com/Tang1206cc. Identify the product, version, and your request. Do not include passwords, login cookies, connection codes, entire recordings, or unnecessary personal information in your initial message. Contact rights holders first for team redistribution, sublicensing, brand use, or other permissions beyond this license. Rights in proprietary software not expressly granted are reserved. Separate written permission cannot diminish an existing third-party component license. Apple Standard End User License Agreement: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
